It is my pleasure to serve as a teacher and acted as Head of the department more than two decades in Narajole Raj College.

The department of Bengali, Narajole Raj College, has a great legacy of serving in academia as it is one of the oldest departments of the college. Our department compromises of an excellent amalgamation of experienced Junior and senior faculty members, totaling eight dedicated teachers whose commitment has positively impacted the department.

The department strive to provide comprehensive academic support to the student through the teaching, rendering the departmental library services and intensive and sincere student mentoring. Along with regular activities department gave emphasis on creating employability among the students through the inducement of skill - based courses.

Besides, departmental teachers and students are keen in creative activities which motivate them to publish a departmental journal namely ‘Prayas’. In addition to that, students and teachers engaged themselves in community services regularly.

Department of Bengali, Narajole Raj college is a platform for the holistic development of the students. Here, the journey from ‘studentship’ to shape a ‘complete human being’ is not only envisioned but also actively fostered.
